MPA Student of the Month

Alex Almodóvar

Alex Almodóvar

"The MPA degree and experience at KSU provided me with the fundamentals to prepare myself for a career in local government. The MPA experience was incredible, and I have really seen how what I learned during the program translates into the practical realm of the real world of local governance. The MPA degree led to my current opportunity and has accelerated my ability to get promoted in my short career from an entry-level position to a director-level position. Moreover, the MPA program allowed me to grow as a person and have experience in many areas, such as the international arena, from my study abroad trip to Romania in 2016. I am truly appreciative and grateful for the MPA program at KSU for the experience it provided me and for the support I continue to receive from fellow alumni, professors, and Maureen."
